Lunar Surface Innovation Consortium Fall Meeting
Wednesday, November 3, 2021 -Thursday, November 4, 2021
Venue: Bowie State University, Bowie Maryland
The Fall Meeting of the Lunar Surface Innovation Consortium is scheduled for November 3-4th, 2021, and will be held at Bowie State University in Bowie, MD (with most content and some sessions also available online).
Registration for the meeting is free, and will open by early August. As we are still in the planning stage for the meeting itself, we would like to provide the community an opportunity to suggest specific technical topics or other content to consider including in the meeting. To provide input or to indicate your interest in attending the meeting, please fill out our short survey here: https://forms.gle/bnTb13qBZYvSjJaM7
This year’s technical theme is Autonomy and Robotics. The overarching meeting theme will be used to focus invited presentations and the technical breakout discussions. We encourage abstracts pertaining to these topics, as well as those describing technology developments for any of the LSII focus areas or establishing a sustained presence on the lunar surface. Abstracts are limited to one page in length, and must be submitted by August 31st, 2021 in order to be reviewed by the technical organizing committee. Please be sure to use the attachment available on this page, "lsic-abstract-template.docx".
The technical committee will review abstracts for technical content and relevance. If your abstract is accepted, you may be selected for a poster presentation only, or a poster with the option for a short lightning talk to highlight your work in front of the larger group. Due to time limitations, only a subset of abstracts are likely to be selected for these talks. Speakers will be notified of whether their abstract(s) were accepted before the end of September.
